Referral Programme Terms

1. Eligibility

The Decal Empire Referral Programme is open to all registered customers who have completed at least one order. Participation is subject to approval by our team. We reserve the right to decline or revoke membership at any time.

2. How It Works

Approved members receive a unique referral code and link. When a new customer uses your referral link and places their first qualifying order, they receive a discount on that order and you earn a commission based on your current tier.

• Commissions are calculated as a percentage of the referred order total (excluding shipping and VAT).
• Commission rates increase as you reach higher tiers by making more successful referrals.
• Commissions are approved once the referred order has been shipped.

3. Friend Discount

Referred customers receive a percentage discount on their first order. The discount percentage is set by Decal Empire and may change. The discount applies to the order subtotal and cannot be combined with other promotional codes.

4. Payouts

• Payouts are processed on the 1st of each month for the previous month's approved commissions.
• A minimum payout threshold applies (currently £10). Balances below the threshold carry forward.
• Payouts are made via Stripe Connect to your connected bank account.
• A small processing fee may be deducted from each payout to cover transfer costs.
• You are responsible for reporting any income earned through the programme to HMRC.

5. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in suspension or removal:

• Self-referral (using your own referral code for personal orders).
• Creating fake or duplicate accounts to generate referrals.
• Spam or unsolicited bulk messaging using your referral link.
• Misleading claims about Decal Empire products or the referral programme.
• Using paid advertising that bids on Decal Empire branded terms.
• Any form of click fraud or artificial inflation of referral metrics.

6. Commission Clawback

If a referred order is refunded, returned, or deemed fraudulent, the associated commission will be reversed. If the commission has already been paid out, it will be deducted from future earnings.

7. Cookie Policy

When someone clicks your referral link, a cookie is set on their browser for 30 days to attribute their purchase to you. If they clear their cookies or use a different device, the referral may not be tracked.

8. Incentive Disclosure

This is an incentivised referral programme. Referrers earn a commission when people they refer make a purchase. This disclosure is displayed to referred customers at the point of referral in compliance with advertising standards.

9. Programme Changes

Decal Empire reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the referral programme at any time. This includes changes to commission rates, tier structures, discount percentages, and payout terms. We will endeavour to give reasonable notice of material changes.
